Manuscript Submission
Manuscript Types: FEDTC accepts original research articles, review articles, technical papers, case studies, and book chapters related to Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, and related fields.
Submission Platform: Authors must submit their manuscripts through the official FEDTC Manuscript Management System (MMS).
Formatting Guidelines:
- Manuscripts must be in English and formatted according to the FEDTC Author Template. Download Template.
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5-line spacing.
- Include an abstract (250-300 words) and 3-6 keywords.
- Follow APA 7th edition citation style for references.
- Length:
- Articles: 4,000–7,000 words
- Review Papers: Up to 10,000 words
- Short Communications: 2,000–3,000 words
- Plagiarism and Originality: Manuscripts must be plagiarism-free. Generative AI tools can only be used for generating code or datasets, and not for drafting entire manuscripts. Any use of AI must be explicitly cited. The work must demonstrate originality and significant contributions to the field.
Author Declaration
Authors must submit a signed declaration stating:
- The work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
- All co-authors approve the submission.
- Any conflicts of interest are disclosed.
Peer Review Process
- Initial Screening: The editorial team evaluates submissions for compliance with formatting, originality, and scope.
- Double-Blind Peer Review: Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field.
- Reviewers assess:
- Scientific rigor
- Relevance
- Novelty
- Methodology
- Clarity
- Review Outcomes: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, Reject.
- Timeline: The review process typically takes 4-6 weeks.
Publication Process
Acceptance Notification: Authors will receive an acceptance email along with instructions for final submission.
Copyediting and Proofreading: Accepted manuscripts undergo professional editing and proofreading.
Open Access Option: Authors can choose open-access publication
Publication Timeline: Manuscripts are published online first and included in the next available issue of the FEDTC Journal of Data and Technology.
Author Rights
Authors retain copyright of their articles but must agree to the journal’s licensing terms (Creative Commons Attribution License, CC BY).
Indexing and Metrics
FEDTC journals are indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Articles receive unique DOIs for citation tracking.
Reviewer Acknowledgment
Reviewers contributing to FEDTC journals are publicly acknowledged annually and may receive a Certificate of Appreciation.
